KLAS was established in 1998. Since that year the nuber of KLAS organizations has been rapidly growing and is 22 novadays.

KLAS main aim was, is and will be to unite and represent most active, energetic, enthusiastic and, of course, happiest members of yout organizations in Klaipėda.Since 2009 October, main control centre of KLAS became the KLAS council, which consists of 7 most active Klaipėda's youth organizations leaders. KLAS council members must represent their own and all youth organizations of Klaipėda's both. KLAS organizes a lot of events, which are made for youth. For example, Klaipėda's youth organizations mart was organized 3 times in last 3 years. This event was made not only for youth organizations to show their activities for all people. This event also became a great connection between all organizations, which helped members of organizations meet each other, communicate and make new friends. KLAS council invites all Klaipėda's youth organizations to improve and become members of this association. We think that together we can do more.
